This new clear case for the second generation MacBook Air is made of thinner and more flexible material, but once installed, it is like a second skin, adding very little bulk and weight to the computer. It anchors itself snugly to the rim of the aluminum case with a reassuring click and it stays put. There is no worry that it will come off unintentionally. It can be removed easily, but maybe not as easily as the product description above would make you believe.All of the computer's ports are fully accessible and there are no sharp or loose edges to cut or scratch you- or get hung up when pulling the computer in/out of backpack. The precision and thoughtful design of the case are impressive- even the rubber feet of the MBA fit perfectly into the case bottom.
