| 27 of 28 people found the following review helpful  Yep, they do run small..., By This review is from: Minnetonka Women's Layer Fringe Boot (Apparel)  As I said in the video, they look cool, and I wouldn't give them a 10 for comfort on me, but I do have a wider foot, which is probably why to me, the sole is a bit too narrow to where it feels as if the edges of my feet are wider than the bottom of the shoe. The main discomfort issue I felt was in the back of the shoe though. It just sort of rubs when I walk and I really have not worn the boots again, so I can't say as to whether that's something I'd get used to, or would lessen long-term, but I would tend to think something like that would not be remedied by the shoe stretching out over time. It feels as if a piece of the suede rubs against the back of my heel at a point where to pieces of it are seamed together. Other people's reviews do not seem to mention any comfort issues, so again, I wonder if perhaps it's just the wideness of my foot, or incorrect sizing in my case. I purchased a size 10.
