So far the router has performed beyond expectations. My house is about 4500sq ft and my yard maybe another 2000sq ft w/ pool. we like using the ipad in the backyard. i was a little skeptical at first and although i've seen amped around before, i've had previous experiences with router's from netgear and dlink that claimed long range have all since been returned. So after plugging this bad boy in i noticed already that the range was great. i had wifi in the backyard and all rooms. tested the gigabit speeds since i have structured wiring throughout the house and that was good. overall with my brief test i am very pleased with this amped router. it has lived up to its hype and i am very happy to have wifi in all rooms and backyard. the only complaint i would give this product would probably be on price. its a bit on the more expensive side but hey you get what you pay for and i'm more than happy.can't comment on reliability... With this brand I now use just the rubber duck antenna and 5 full bars of signal. No more unsightly external antenna in the house. Covers my back yard and every square inch of my property. .2 of an acre lot. my computer in my shed in my backyard now sees signal at 5 full bars whereas before I got zip,nada,nothing. Why a computer in my shed ? Well that is where all of my Ham gear is. being able to send a confirmation of the call is now quick and easy.Their support on the other hand is not so hot.
